Commencing his training career in Townsville before establishing himself as one of Brisbane’s leading trainers, O’Dea expressed pride in the partnership’s achievements, highlighting their first Group 1 victory with Uncommon James in the Oakleigh Plate last year as a particular highlight.

Hoysted’s association with the stable dates back to 2016, when he served as the assistant trainer for five years before becoming a co-trainer in 2020.
