Horse Racing News Update: Cheveley Park Stud Showcases Promising Juvenile Fillies

Cheveley Park Stud appears to have two impressive juvenile fillies on their hands, according to the latest horse racing news. The Sir Michael Stoute-trained pair, Anna Swan and Formal, have both made a strong start to their racing careers.

Formal, a daughter of the renowned sire Dubawi out of the Cheveley Park homebred Group One winner Veracious, made a smart debut at Newbury last month. She easily defeated the hot favorite Glistening, showcasing her potential.

Her stablemate, Anna Swan, by the sire Almanzor and out of the black-type performer Vivionn, arguably made an even bigger impression on her first outing at Yarmouth last week. According to Cheveley Park’s managing director Chris Richardson, “I’m not sure what Anna Swan beat, but she couldn’t have done it more easily.

While the connections have not yet finalized any plans for the two fillies, they are excited about the prospects of these young talents. Richardson stated, “> We’ve got two very nice fillies hopefully, and we’ll see which way we go. We’ll look at the entries, and he (Stoute) will be patient and bring them on gradually, I’m sure, but they were eye-catching performances, and we’re delighted to have the two of them.”

The horse racing community is eagerly anticipating the future outings and development of these Cheveley Park Stud fillies trained by the renowned Sir Michael Stoute.
