Thrilling Comeback Anticipated for Dual Listed Winner All The King’s Men

Exciting news for horse racing enthusiasts as the talented five-year-old gelding All The King’s Men is gearing up for a highly anticipated return to the track in the upcoming spring and summer carnival. Trainer Trevor Andrews has provided an encouraging update on the horse’s recovery from a tendon strain that has kept him sidelined for nearly 12 months.

All The King’s Men, a dual Listed race winner, claimed impressive victories in the WA Breeders Stakes (1400m) and the Lex Piper Stakes (1600m) at Pinjarra and Ascot respectively last year. Prior to these triumphs, the gelding also secured placings in prestigious events such as the Group 3 WA Sires Produce Stakes (1400m), the Listed Fairetha Stakes (1400m), and the Listed Lee-Steere Classic (1400m).

Addressing the horse’s progress, Andrews revealed that All The King’s Men has been undergoing rehabilitation at Wayne Kiely’s state-of-the-art facility, where he has been utilizing the advanced water treadmill technology to aid his recovery. The trainer expressed positivity about the gelding’s condition, stating, “The tendon looks 100 per cent. I’m pretty positive about this bloke without getting too far ahead of myself.”

While the exact timing of All The King’s Men’s return to racing is still being determined, Andrews indicated that it may not be until the latter stages of the spring and summer carnival, as they are “just marking time at the moment.” The trainer asserted, “It’s a bit too soon to have him back for the spring and summer.”

In addition to the highly anticipated comeback of All The King’s Men, Andrews also has two other stable stars, A Lot of Good Men and Define Beautiful, currently spelling and in “good order” ahead of their own return to action later in the year.

Fans of horse racing can look forward to the thrilling return of All The King’s Men as he aims to continue his winning ways and potentially add more prestigious titles to his impressive resume. Keep an eye out for updates on this talented gelding’s progress and his highly anticipated comeback to the racing circuit.
