Horse Racing News: NYRA and FanDuel TV Reach New Agreement for Saratoga Meet

In a significant development for the horse racing industry, the New York Racing Association (NYRA) has announced a new contractual agreement with FanDuel TV. This agreement will once again make pari-mutuel wagering on the highly anticipated summer meet at Saratoga available to FanDuel-TVG customers across the country.

“We are pleased to have reached a resolution that will allow FanDuel-TVG customers across the country to wager on NYRA racing now and moving forward,” stated NYRA’s Chief Revenue Officer, Tony Allevato. “In accordance with the goals stated at the outset of this process, NYRA will be dedicating significant funding to support New York’s horsemen and strengthen the state’s Thoroughbred racing ecosystem.”

As part of the new multi-year agreement, FanDuel TV has also committed to making a sizable contribution to the NYRA Foundation. This will further the impact of the Foundation’s efforts in supporting various worthy endeavors connected to Thoroughbred racing in New York State, including backstretch services, Thoroughbred aftercare, and more.

“We are happy to have reached a multi-year agreement with the New York Racing Association and to extend our 24-year wagering partnership,” said Andrew Moore, General Manager, Racing, FanDuel Group. “We look forward to the Saratoga meet and beyond and to supporting the good work of the NYRA Foundation.”

This new agreement between NYRA and FanDuel TV is a welcomed development for horse racing enthusiasts and the industry as a whole. It ensures that the highly anticipated Saratoga summer meet, known for its rich history and world-class racing, will be accessible to a wider audience through the FanDuel-TVG platforms.
